In addition to a being a 16 year police veteran in Massachusetts George Vranos is also a certified police defensive tactics instructor, licensed boxing coach, a field training officer, and a competitive wrestler.
During Vranos' 16 year police career he closely studied and identified the most common methods suspects instinctively use to resist or escape standardized police compliance techniques during emotionally charged situations. Vranos then researched, developed and tested hundreds of applications to develop the FACT System.
The FACT System is not a standard custody and control system where the officer learns compliance techniques on a "stationary cooperative subject" as learned in police academies. Yet, the standardized wristlocks used by officers all over the United States are the building blocks of the FACT System making these new techniques easy for anyone to learn and apply on the street.
